What I Wore Wednesday

I think I've given up on trying to catch a well-timed and effortless-looking photo for WIWW (via The Pleated Poppy)- thus the cropped head in this week's photo. Miles isn't old enough to take my picture (he'd much rather gum my iPhone to baby drool oblivion), and he's the only one around the house with me on most Wednesdays now that my sisters are back in school. So, it's back to the old mirror trick for me because for some reason I love to proudly show you all that I don't go "mama casual" (AKA yoga wear) every day... mostly just from Thursday to Tuesday.

The outfit:

Sweater: Gap
Jeans: Earnest Sewn

Cute striped sweater! Love the mix of neutral colors!

I never have anyone to take my picture either. I have figured out if I put the camera on self timer on my stairs I can get a decent picture of myself.

I'm with you on self-photography. I think we should just embrace our cropped heads, awkward angles, and obnoxious flash reflections! You look great and I totally get the Thurs.-Tues. wardrobe. However, I like Kimberly's idea with the timer. I may have to try that!

You have such a pretty smile! Whenever I take these photos of myself I always look so, so bad! But you look pretty! Popping over from WIWW.

Kimberly, such a good idea! I wish the iPhone had a self-timer (but then it'd be an iCamera instead of an iPhone!). I guess I better go find my real camera for next week. :)
